Special Education Program (SEP)

Western Cape College focuses on inclusion for all students. At present, the school caters for up to forty students with a verified disability.

Western Cape College specialises in the following disability areas; Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Speech Language Impairment. The SEP staff also cater for Vision Impairment, Physical Impairment and Augmentative/Alternative Communication.

The Inclusion model aims to enable each student to reach their potential through the provision of a range of educational support models; from consultative assistance, case management, adjusted curriculum and classroom support.
