STUDENT LEADERSHIP/ SRC NEWS

Thanks to all Leadership/SRC students who helped out at the Markets on Sunday. Despite the crowds being down on last time, it was an enjoyable afternoon for everyone. There was a wide variety of goods from 17 stalls including great food, artwork, flowers, jewellery, soaps, cards, toys, clothes and creative memories. The $100 from the  100 Board was won by Dylan Maxwell. Congratulations!     Thanks also to the students who helped out at the P&C Disco on Friday night. Your help and participation contributed greatly to a very successful evening. Leadership students are also coordinating the Cancer Doorknock Appeal this year. Read below for further details.

	QUEENSLAND CANCER COUNCIL DOORKNOCK SUNDAY 16TH JULY 10-12pm
Western Cape College Student Leadership Group are coordinating the Queensland Cancer Council Doorknock Appeal this year with the collection day being Sunday 16th July between 10am and 12 noon. If you wish to be a collector for this worthy cause, could you please email Mary Ann Thompson ([email protected]) as soon as possible so that your name can be registered.
Please remember this date and have money ready to give generously to the student collectors. Envelopes are also available if you wish to post it in. Collectors will have registered Qld Cancer Fund materials and receipts. There will also be the opportunity to donate the following week at Croc and the Fishing Classic if the Doorknock collectors miss you.  Please give generously if students come to your home on Sunday 16th July.
