Borrowing

Years 1 - 6

Two items at a time for a period of one week

Years 7 - 12

Five items at a time for a period of two weeks. Books must be returned by the due date stamped on the slip in the book.

Reference

Those with 'Not for Loan' sticker, are generally not to leave the library, though some may be borrowed overnight.

Magazines and Vertical File

May be borrowed for one week.  

Overdue Books Your roll class teacher will receive a list of those items overdue. Students with overdue items are not able to borrow further items from the library. As soon as you have finished with Resource Centre materials please return them.
Photocopier / Computer Use Copies are 10c per page for A4 paper. Research print-outs from the pentiums costs 10c per sheet.
Ports/Bags/Hats Must be left outside the library. Only the paper and pens that are needed for research are to be brought inside.

 

 

When using books and other resources in the library, please return them to the shelf, at the place where your shelf marker was inserted, otherwise put them in the returns box. Leave the library tidy when you go.

Remember: Our school library is a place of learning. When you enter the library certain behavior is expected of you. Unless you are prepared to sit quietly to study, read, research or listen, then it is not the right place for you to be. If you are sent to the library during a lesson you must report to one of the library staff on entry.
