Western Cape College has developed a myriad of policies and procedures to ensure strategic priorities are met. The Western Cape College Communication Strategy 2006-2008 is an example of how the College implements different strategies to achieve success on key priorities.
Strategically it is important for the College to demonstrate accountability to key stakeholder groups. One method of achieving this has been the publication of our fortnightly College Newsletter in the Western Cape Bulletin. The College Director determines a weekly theme for each newsletter to ensure consistency and depth of messages. The Director's column From the Director's Desk has been a successful tool to demonstrate accountability to stakeholders.
The Western Cape College Prospectus 2007-2008 provides an overview of how the College works and various College procedures. This document is fundamental to introducing students, parents and staff to the College and its communities.
The Western Cape College Executive Management Manual outlines how the Executive Management Team works and the various accountabilities and responsibilities of all team members. Maintaining a strong leadership team has been integral to the success of Western Cape College highlighting the importance of this document.
The Western Cape College Triennial School Review has informed the development of many new policies and procedures at Western Cape College by identifying strengths and weaknesses requiring addressing.
Western Cape College's ICT's Strategy 2006-2007 is the key document outlining how the College will integrate ICTs into teaching and learning inline with the Education Queensland Smart Classroom Strategy.
